Because we naively attracted to someone who was settled / confident and strong. When we see them happily married and take good care of their wives, we want to receive the same love.Why do single/divorced/lonely women flirt with married men?

You should reverse that question. It should be, why do married men flirt with single women?


Most flirtations like this end with the disclosure that the man is married. Up until then he is fair game as a single man. A woman would welcome the attentions from a man if he seemed sincere and was attractive and acted generous to her. Thats all part of flirting. If she is a good person she would end the affair as soon as she learns he is married.





I think for a married man, he might feel like his ego is being stroked. Maybe he feels no one is paying attention to him at home. Or he might feel underappreciated. There's a lot of reasons. It might be a bad marriage. He might feel unloved by his wife.
For the same reason that married men flirt with single women. And if it goes any further, chances are it wouldn't matter who was and wasn't married, it would have happened anyway. A cheater is a cheater... with or without a wedding ring.
I am soon to be divorced and I do not show interest in married men... they are the ones who approach me. I am no homewrecker so w/ their approach if they are expecting something (which most do) they are approaching the wrong person cuz they will get nothing out of me!!
Usually those women do that because a Married man is safe....they just want the attention and nothing more.





The married man may feel flattered but if he loves and respects his wife nothing will come of it.
never understood that either but i bought a ring to wear at bars and i don`t need pick up lines they come to me (never married)
